I received about three years of table tennis training since 7 years old from Jiliang Zhang, a former Henan provincial team player who also trained Olympic players in Taiwan in 2004-2007. After taking a long break, I resumed playing during college and now regularly play at Columbus Table Tennis Club (CTTC) and occasionally at Matchpoint Pickleball Club. I am a registered USA Table Tennis (USATT) player and have represented OSU in National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) competitions.

I also have a Minor in Music from OSU. For me, composing is a meaningful way to release overflowing ideas and emotions. I first started writing music in 2014, when I barely understood music theory but still felt a strong urge to create. Even now, I would not say my knowledge of music theory is especially advanced, but through years of slow exploration, I have gradually learned to write pieces that can move me.

With the rapid development of AI, it is a little bittersweet that music generated in one minute may sound more melodic, rhythmically dynamic, and harmonically sophisticated than something I spend weeks writing note by note. However, just as the meaning of a journey lies not only in the destination but also in the scenery along the way, the process of creation itself is what I truly enjoy.
